Just got back from Yoga
So far this semester has been pretty lax. I just got out of yoga class with my friend Amanda. Now I'm just listening to music. All I have been up to lately is tanning, working, homework, and just hanging out. I got a new job at The Shanty on the Shore. It's a really fun, nice seafood restaurant right on Lake Champlain. My best friend works there too as a server, I'm a busser/ hostess. I like it a lot so far, I plan to work there for a while. In March Kerry and I are going to look for an apartment to live for the summer. Yup, I'm staying up. Even though I've been a little homesick lately with all this cold weather, I hope I can get home in the next couple months.
Other than that nothing too exciting, except I'm going to see one of my favorite bands, Saosin, at Higher Ground (local venue) on Thursday. I can't wait!
If you have any questions about Champlain or anything I'm up to or Rosey Pink feel free to comment!

Hi Janey,
Can you elaborate on this BYOBiz program? I'd like to hear how you started this cosmetic business of yours, and how it effected your college application and acceptance. Also, did you know from age 15 that you wanted to major in business?
I'm a sophomore in HS right now and thinking about going into graphic design or some other art, but I could see myself doing anything from architecture to engineering to journalism or other writing.
Thanks!

So i have to admit that seeing you mention Saosin in your blog is what really got my attention, and i'm majorly jealous that you're going to get to see them live.
Anyways, i read all your blogs and it sounds like you're having a great time at champlain. Was it hard to get into? and are there any major downsides to champlain?

Hey Janey, I stumbled across your blog and wanted to just leave you a comment..I found your blogs to be really helpful to me, as I was just accepted to Champlain for class of 2012! I really like the school, what i know if it so far but I just have a few questions.. Did you find they placed you with a compatable roommate? that's really the main thing I am nervous about.. and also, is it hard to go home once in a while? I am from Maine so I think i'd need to fly..but you mentioned the car situation there that we are allowed to have our own cars.. Any answers to this would be really helpful :) Thank you so much..
