Brewfest

Hi All.
Brewfest took place this past weekend in downtown Burlington, which always means delicious refreshments (if you're of age), networking with local VT Breweries, and a night down by the waterfront. The weather was less than amazing during the first round on Friday but by Saturday the storm clouds had cleared and the lawn was filled with hundreds of tourists and locals alike. Although most of the fun during Fest is had by those who can indulge in the deliciousness that is Vt beer, minors can take an active part and pursue the opportunity to network with local business owners and absorb the musical stylings of a variety of artists.

Next weekend will most likely be spent working and heading to First Night at Higher Ground, a monthly event that can be enjoyed by any age group. The DJ is always on point and the dancing extends to the wee hours of the morning. If you attend a school in B-town, staying up to date with the Higher Ground calendar is crucial to expanding your social scene, catching great shows for cheap, and tapping into the VT music scene.

Other than that, not much new on this end, I'll keep ya posted with any interesting developments, next weekend promises to bring several. Til next time readers.
