Cyber Crime Presentation
Last night (January 28) was a presentation by an Assistant Attorney General who is the Chief of the Cybercrime division in Massachusetts. His primary duty is basically to run the center for discovering digital evidence. It was an interesting presentation to listen to, although we know a great deal of the material as students.
A few of the seniors in the program are actually going to be interviewing for a couple of the open entry level positions. If hired, their duties would include the recovery of digital evidence when the police execute a search warrant. That means being there when the cops break down the door.
I'm personally not sure about what I want to do for a career, I kind of want to go into the private sector and make money, with that comes with a great deal of travel, which I love to do. On the other hand, I like the job security of the government, pension, and not to mention I get to make people shiver when I tell them that I'm from the Government, and I'm here to investigate a crime.
So there are a great deal of benefits and decisions that I still have a great deal of time to make. I just don't deal well with uncertainty. I'll just have to be patient.
Enough of my yammering, have a good one folks!
