Before Finals
So, things have been very busy around here. During finals and the holidays I wasn't able to post.
Here's what went on:
Halvorsons:
Halvorsons is a great restaurant if your looking for a great bite to eat on Church Street. It's an even greater place to get your whole writing class to go to and share your work! The last day of class, Jim Ellefson, my professor in Intermediate Creative Writing, took us down to Church Street where we got to hang out, read our short stories and poems, and feed our bellies. Not a bad class huh?

Above is my friend Matt, who actually works at Halvorsons. He's also a great writer. Next to that photo, is Stacey.
YOGA
In another one of my classes called Content Literacy, a secondary education course, we were taught yoga from the master herself, Kathy Leo-Nyquist. Ok... so Kathy isn't the master but she sure surprised us when she could balance on her head. We all tried too... but were just not as talented as Kathy is. The only thing i was able to do was maybe touch my toes...
CORE
Finals went pretty smoothly. I had mostly projects to complete and present. In my CORE class, Scientific Revolutions, we had to complete a timeline. There were some pretty cool ones. In Aesthetic Expressions, my group had to present and try to sell something that was visually pleasing. We tried to sell a chutes and ladders board game that explored Renaissance artwork. We gave muffins and juice to the class as well to wake up at 8am on a monday morning. Another project that I found interesting was a group of students who designed Burton snowboards with Renaissance art.
