Hey everyone! My name's Mike LeTourneau and since you're here that means that you're probably reading my blog about life here at Champlain College. Since this is your first time here (and since it's the first post, technically my first time here as well) I suppose I'll start by telling you a bit about myself.
You already know my name, but my full name is Michael Alan LeTourneau Jr. I'm a Freshmen here at Champlain in the Game Design Major. I'm about six feet tall, I have brown, overly curly hair, and enjoy long walks on the beach and just kidding. I live in a quad (a room with four people living together for those of you under a rock) in Rowell Hall, room 209 if you ever want to visit. We call it the Thunderdome. Hopefully it'll be available for tour groups by next semester.
And now that I've given you a little information about me, I suppose you'll want to hear some information about the college? Well hold on there, Jethro, we haven't quite gotten there yet. You see, this first post here is called the "hook." It's meant to get all of you interested and wanting to read the next post. College is fun and all, but if I immediately go into describing the cafeteria, and the library, and the computer labs, and the classes, and the blah this, and the blah blah that, I'll end up sounding like a boring brochure that you get spammed in the mail starting your Junior year of high school and immediately throw away. So for now, I'll be signing off. This is a blog about a student's LIFE at Champlain, not a blog about the college. Until next time!
