Fuller Theological Seminary: Justin

Main | Week 2 »

Welcome

Today marked the beginning of my third and final year at Fuller. It’s kind of daunting to think that I’ll be done with my time here in less than a year, that in around nine months, I’ll be moving on to something new.

Just over two years ago, I flew into LAX from London, where I’d spent the last eight years of my life (for boarding school and university). I was fresh-faced, excited, eager not only to see what God would bring my way, but to live it up in California. Now? I’m excited and eager to see what God’s going to bring and where he’s going to lead me after Fuller. God has been ever-present in my journeys, which began in Hong Kong and brought me to California via London, even when I wasn’t aware of him or even in a good relationship with him.

My time at Fuller has been a great couple years so far, but coming down the home stretch, it’s hard not to feel a little bit of senioritis and a great deal of exhaustion. I’ve been studying for eight straight quarters at Fuller, taking a full class load each time, alongside working part-time (in Fuller’s Admissions Office); so life has been a whole lot of busy. This year, I won’t be working in the Admissions Office, but will be focusing on finishing out my time here and maybe picking up a job which demands less hours. And trying to stay alive. ☺

I’ll let you know how that pans out.
