Fall?
Week 4 of the fall quarter is coming to a close and things are most definitely in full swing. October is almost over, and it's still really, really warm. Yesterday, the temperature hit 95 and the high today is supposed to be 94. So ... it doesn't really feel like fall at all. But, coming from London, where it got cold in late August/early September, I'm okay with it being a little warmer for a little longer! Plus, there are one or two brown leaves on the ground. Somewhere.
Oh, tonight's the Harvest Festival. Every year, Fuller puts this event on, and it's always a lot of fun: hayrides, games, good food, and lots of kids (and some grown-ups) all dressed up. Although, with the temperature where it is, I'm thinking it may feel more like a midsummer festival with a fall theme ...
Happy October 24!
P.S. Have you ever seen "Today in History"?
