Introduction

I'm really pumped to be blogging about college life this year. This is my senior year at Gonzaga and I couldn't be more sad about it. I’m from Boston, Massachusetts and I am going to graduate with a degree in Sport Management with a minor in Applied Communication. Everyone always wants to know what I am going to do after senior year. I’m starting to gather ideas but I’m mainly focusing on living up my senior year to the fullest.
There are tons of things I love here at Gonzaga but maybe my favorite of them all over the last four years has been the intramurals. Right now we are in the middle of flag football and soccer season. My friends and I put together a flag football and soccer team every year. This year we are undefeated so far in flag football at 3-0. Our co-ed soccer team is 4-0. I’m hoping to bring home a couple champions t-shirts this year! However, we all know that the biggest intramural sport here at Gonzaga is basketball. Basketball sign-ups are due in a month and people are already starting to get their teams together.
My past here has been nothing short of amazing experiences. The summer after sophomore year, I went to Italy to study abroad (hence my picture with the coliseum behind me) and it was an incredible experience. I have tons of stories and amazing pictures to back it up. To study abroad at some point during college is an experience you will never regret.
I’ve worked in the undergraduate admissions office the last three years and I have met a ton of really awesome prospective students and parents. Some of the students are now here on campus. I’m loving everyday and the days are flying by a little too fast for me. I’m looking forward to talking to everyone and anyone who has questions about Gonzaga University. Have a great week everyone! After my homework tonight I’ll be cleaning my turtle tank. I have two turtles named Pauly (after Paul Pierce) and Winny. Call me corny, but I love them.
