20 credits away from graduation! From 9am to 5pm everyday my days are packed with something. Some days this semester I do not even have time for lunch. When you are so busy the days just fly by. I cannot believe we are approaching the end of January already. As I am writing this it is starting to hit me that the end is near. My friends are starting to network for jobs and I am starting to do that myself. Am I staying on the West Coast or heading back to Boston after graduation in May?!?! Still have no idea on that one.
This weekend I have got my first intramural basketball games of the season...oooo yeahhh...We have our first co-ed game at 1pm on Sunday and right after at 3pm we have our first men's game. Our co-ed team this year is going to be amazing. We have two girls who are almost 6 foot and another girl who used to play point guard for Gonzaga women's team. She didn't play for the team this year and that works out great for our intramural team! Most teams have 3 guys and 2 girls on the court at once but we are going to play with 3 girls and 2 guys on the court at all times. We want our best players to be out there at all times haha. Later today, my friends and I are going to head down to the gym and play some basketball. Just a little warm-up for Sunday. When intramural basketball season gets going strong it is awesome. The boys and I get so pumped for every game that its really all we think about on gamedays. I have yet to win a Gonzaga intramural championship shirt in basketball and this is my last chance to get one. The last two years my team has been knocked out of the playoffs on buzzer beaters so I'm hoping that this year turns out different. My sophomore year the other team made a half court shot to win the game and knock us out. It happened to be the first three the guy had made all season. That was my worst moment in my history of intramurals.
I'm going to use this weekend to catch up on sleep and do all the school work looming over my head. Maybe have a little fun as well tonight with my friends. Time to hurry home to watch some NBA on ESPN. TGIF!

The new semester is off with a bang

Randy Ariey:Hi Ben, My son Andrew is waiting upon acceptance to Gonzaga. I need to fly him up there to see the campus. Does the univ have housing for students to check out the univ before they commit? Also, would you say yes to the fact that most GONZAGA students visited the campus before entering the school. Thank you!! Randy Ariey
