Goodness, it's been FOREVER!
Last Thursday was Thanksgiving. I really enjoyed my Thanksgiving holiday. It was so relaxing, being with friends and family. I forgot how much I missed everyone. I can't even begin to tell you how MUCH food I ate over the break. I'm still stuffed, even now! For some reason it seems like the time from Thanksgiving has flown by. I blinked and it's already almost Wednesday. Anyway, for Thanksgiving we had my family, my grandma, and our family best friends-we've known them for like 15 years, so they're pretty much family. We had the usual: turkey, dressing, mac n cheese (my fave!), vegetables, casseroles, yada..yada..yada. Oh and we had sooo much dessert! My mom and grandma made like 2 cakes, 2 pies, peach cobbler, and other stuff! I ate dessert 3 times a day after that..once with every meal :) But it was really awesome to spend time with the people in my life that I am most thankful for. No better way to start the Holiday season!
I have pics of that holiday goodness...I WILL be posting soon.
Okay, soo the Twilight movie finally came out. I went to see it with a bunch of my sorority sisters at midnight at the IMAX. It was A-W-E-S-O-M-E! I can't even tell ya'll how much I have been anticipating the release of that movie! I have been in love with the Twilight series for an insane amount of time! Ahh Edward Cullen *sigh* I wish he was real! All you ladies, know what I'm talking about! I was nervous about Stephenie Meyer's choice of Robert Pattinson, but I thought he was TERRIFIC!!! He did such a great job! I know alot of fans were disappointed, but I thought that Catherine Hardwicke--the director--did a great job, with the screenwriters. Obviously the book is WAYYYY better, but they didn't eliminate too much! Ohh and over Thanksgiving break I got my Team Edward shirt. Yes, I know I'm a nerd. :o) But we all have a little bit of nerd in us...right, Mario? ; )
Speaking of movie watching, I started watching Christmas movies like a few days before Thanksgiving. Annnnnd some of my friends (they will remain nameless) think that you can't start watching Christmas movies until December! I completely disagree! I am a Christmas junkie! I can't get enough of the music, the lights, the movies...the Christmas Spirit! It is definitely the MOST WONDERFUL time of the year!
But what do y'all think? Is it okay to start watching Christmas movies a little bit before December? I mean ABC Family starts a countdown for the 25 days of Christmas..a countdown for a countdown..haha, that's HULarious! i love it!
Anyway, finals are coming up! I know everyone is ready for the semester to be over, so we get our MONTH off!! FINALLY!! Ahh we've been waiting for this for so long. Just ask an upperclassman about the quarter system in regards to Christmas break. haha.
Hope everyone does well on their finals and/or midterms if you're still in hs.
Only you can make your week fabulous!!!
