Bermuda, Bahama...come on pretty mama
Hey ya'll,
So my family went on a cruise over the Christmas holiday...well it was more over the New Year's holiday. Anyway we went to Jamaica and the Caymans, and it was WONDERFUL! I didn't want to come back!
While I was in Jamaica we went through this waterfalls called Dunn's River Falls and we climbed through them. It was gorgeous! We also went to several different beaches. Talk about R-E-L-A-X-I-N-G!
Anyway, it was such a great vacation, I've already started planning another one for me and my friends :)
Here are some pics!

this is my family (dad, me, mom, and grandma) as we were docking in Jamaica ;)

this is one of the beaches in the Cayman's...I could've stayed there all year!

one of the waterfalls we got to see and go through!

this is my dad and me on top of one of the decks one night

and our boat, the Celebrity Century! :)
It was soo much fun!! I wish I was back there! :)
Have a great weekend everyone!!

Inauguration!
January 20, 2009...
...marks another monument of history. Today, Barack Obama was sworn in as the official 44th President of the United States, and I watched it on tv. Despite how I feel about his policy or whatnot, it was still so amazing to see the pinnacle of this whole election process. There were soooo many people there, sheer craziness!! I was blown away! I also thought President Obama delivered a good speech. I don't remember watching previous Inauguration ceremonies with any ounce of interest, but this time around it was cool to watch and actually understand.
Anyway, I think this semester is going to be good. I'm enjoying my classes, well some of them...Philosophy could take its toll ;) I'm just ready for it to be Spring already!! I do not like cold weather...I LOVE it warm!! I was talking with one of my sorority sisters, Liz and we were talking about Springtime in Texas. I'm tired of this up and down weather. I need it to be hot already!
Obviously I talk about this alot, but that's because it's important!!! The day after Christmas we should be experiencing consistent weather in the mid 80's.
Tomorrow should be a good day, I think. We'll see what happens.

Think about that, and make it a great week!!

Welcome Back!
Soooo,
After a long and MUCH needed winter break, I am back in Houston. Classes resumed yesterday. I SURVIVED! lol just kidding. Anyway, but I was so ready to get back to Houston to get back to HBU and see all my friends. I love being at home, but a month off is a lonnnnng time to be there lol.
One thing is for sure, while I was ready to see everyone, I definitely wasn't ready to go back to class lol. No, but I am really excited about starting a new year, and new classes. That means new friends! :) But overall, my Christmas break was really wonderful and relaxing. My family went on a cruise right after New Years, and that was wonderful! I seriously did not want to get off the islands...you could've left me there forever!
But enough of that, this year is going to be my year! ha, in fact, I'm gonna be lookin fine in 09! hehe :) I love spring semester because they always have exercise programs offered. I think this year they have pilates and aerobics. I love pilates, it's relaxing, but not too intense. Plus spring semester is so pretty as the season starts to change and the weather gets warmer. I love going to baseball games and laying out while I study, so that's going to be awesome!
Annnnnd my birthday is March 29. That is one week after spring officially starts. So mark your calendars. I will be expecting birthday wishes. Yes that's right, I'll be 21.
Anyway, the best part about the first week back is that the work load is light, so until then there won't be that much going on.
Make it a great week!
