SNOW?!?!
Well, all of my hard work paid off throughout this short swim season this year. On Friday morning, the William Smith Swimming Team traveled to Union for the Liberty League Championship Swim meet. We swam in 3 sessions...one on Friday afternoon, one on Saturday morning, and then one on Saturday afternoon...aka LOTS OF SWIMMING! :-) As a team, we placed 8th...
Although I am very sad to leave my fellow Herons behind, I could not have asked for a better experience and a better season personally! I could not be prouder to walk away from the season having finished 5th in the 50-Yard Freestyle, 8th in the 100-Yard Freestyle, 8th in the 200-Yard Freestyle, and 15th in the 500-Yard Freestyle. I will miss these girls sooo much while I am abroad in Switzerland next semester, but I no doubt will be following them online and definitely keeping in touch because swimming here at William Smith has been a major part of my college experience, and I want to continue that even if I am across the Atlantic Ocean!

Although we arrived back on campus around 10pm on Saturday night, there is no time to sleep in...Today is the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Winter Party! We are baking cookies and decorating gloves and donating them while we eat some pizza then we are going ice skating from 215-445! I am so excited! It should be lots of fun! Hopefully we will still be able to do everything and the weather doesn't stop us...
Speaking of which...we got out first big snow...we probably have like 6 inches on the ground! YIKES!

On a lighter note though...this week is our last week of classes before final exam week! YAY! Actually it's kind of weird to think that once I leave for home this semester I won't be back on campus until next August!!! Wish me luck with exams! I will definitely blog before then but until then stay warm and enjoy the rest of your weekend!!!
