Happy Thanksgiving!

Well I hope that you are all lucky enough to be off all of this week. But if you are like me and stuck in work (ie: school for you) then I feel your pain! Are you doing anything fun for the holiday? Are you a big turkey eater? A parade watcher? A black friday shopper? I am all of the above! Except this year I will be doing it from Florida with my Gram! LUCKY ME!!!

Anyway, I hope you all have a very Happy Thanksgiving and are lucky enough to spend it with family and friends around lots of food and merriment. Stay warm and happy!

Did you know...?

Did you know that a college grad will make more than a million dollars ($$$) more over their life time than a high school grad? A MILLION DOLLARS!
It's a good thing Immaculata has undergraduate, masters, and phd programs!

Did you know that most students are not able to graduate in 4 years any more for various reasons? That's a lot of extra money they are having to shell out (and thus taking away from their million extra earned)
It's a really good thing 90% of Immaculata's students graduate in 4 years!! (and most have at least one internship or co-op under their belt)

Ok, that's enough of me plugging IU. I am actually plugging away at applications and the committee is working on getting decisions out as quickly as possible. We have a record number of apps this year, so if you haven;t applied yet, get them in quickly! In the meantime, if you aren't sure if IU is right for you, feel free to call or email any one of us (all our info is on the web)!

I hope you all are gearing up for Thanksgiving! I am 'in-training', meaning I like to eat as much as possible a few days beforehand and then not eat much the day before and right up until the main meal.... Yum! This year I am spending Thanksgiving in FL away from my family and boyfriend which will be tough and I will def miss them greatly, but I will be visiting my grandma who is one of my best friends! Warm sunshine, here I come!

Hope to hear from you soon!

On the road again....

Can you name who wrote that song? If you can, I am impressed! If you can't and are dying to know, the answer will be at the very end of this blog :)

So really I am almost done travel season (YEAH!) which means I will be around much more online, in my blogs, and by phone in my office, so if you need me, I will be much easier to reach! Remember that you can always email me anytime - day or night - and my Blackberry will buzz to let me know :)

The committee is getting through the files as quickly as possible and we are getting decisions back to those of you who have completed your files as fast as we can. If youa re unsure if you have completed your file with us, CALL ASAP! The number is on the website . The more files we get, the slower the process goes, the closer we can make decisions and get them back to you, SORRY!!!

Anyway, besides that campus has been really busy! For Halloween we had a Costume Ball, Pumpkin Carving Contest, the Haunted Grotto, Trick or Treating, and a few other activites... and that was just Thurday, Friday and Saturday! Lots of fun... If I get any pictures I will put them up.

Also we had another Open House on Saturday. It went really well so if you want to get out here and have a whole day of finding out all about IU, this November 12th is your last chance at a Fall Open House!!!! Register online by going to our campus visit page!

If you just want to chat with us and some current students online, we are hosting a chat on November 8th from 7-9pm check your emails for more info Friday the 4th! If you don't get any emails from us, click here to get on our emailing list!

Finally, On The Road Again is by Willie Nelson
