Another week down of my junior year... and it was another interesting one too!!

It was full of "new" ideas around Immaculata. For the first time we tried online registration and it went really well - next semester I only have one class mondays and wednesdays and NONE on friday... really excited!! Also this week was the debut of this semester's play, Godspell. It was really good - they had a discount night for IU students and I went with a bunch of my friends. It really is cool to see a different side of my friends and classmates as they perform on stage!

This weekend is going to be AMAZING! Tomorrow morning is an Immaculata Open House, which anyone looking at IU should go to, they are so much fun and meeting people at my open house told me a lot about what my freshman class would be like - not to mention I am a featured StAR in the admission's powerpoint haha!

Tomorrow night is also a date-night social with my sorority and brother fraternity - which means on the first day they're predicting snow around here I have to wear high heels and put on a dress! It should be a lot of fun we're taking a "party" bus to the site in West Chester!!

And as of tuesday night classes are officially done so we can go home!! So have a happy thanksgiving everyone!!!

I went to school with one half-brother, and I will graduate with 250 sisters. They are my family within a family at IU!!

So this week at Immaculata has been interesting!! We had the halloween dance last weekend and I missed it because I was sick and I am pretty disappointed! But I did visit friends at another school to celebrate Halloween later that weekend!! We had trick-or-treating in the residence halls to the RAs rooms, there was a costume contest, which I didn't win =( but i still had fun!! Monday kicked off the IU respect week and we had everything from a pay it forward day to a Respect Pep Rally!! It was awesome to see my friends and sorority sisters giving speeches about Respect and getting the student body pumped up!! Also this weekend is the Miss. Immaculata pagent, always an interesting night.

Academically we are looking at course catalogs for the spring semester. Even on the weekend I am being educational.. I am taking a weekend course, '"The Economy" friday night 6-9 and saturday 9-4... hopefully we get out early!! The 1 credit courses are awesome, especially since I want to boost my GPA for grad school applications for next year! I think I am going to be in school forever!!!

Hey Everyone!!
I know this is the boring stuff, but here is a little about me.. My name is Jess McCaughey, I am a junior at Immaculata University. I am from Coventry, RI. I live on campus in suite-style singles. I am an International Business Spanish major and Criminology minor. I am the President of my sorority on campus and I love it. I am involved in the business club, language club and the mac mentor program!
We have quite a bit going on this week at IU. The Haunted Grotto is this week and also the Halloween Dance!! For now I have to go to class!!
