The Beginning
Hey everyone! Just like most, this is my first blog, and I'm happy to be here as the guy blogger! Let me first start by introducing myself. I'm Paul McAndrew, a sophmore here at Immaculata. I'm a history major with secondary education certification and I'm thinking about picking up a minor in Spanish. I can say that I am pretty active on campus, as I'm involved with a variety of things. I'm on the Programming Board, which organizes various events for the campus, Campus Ministry, the Modern Foreign Language Association, and I do a bunch of little things around the campus here and there. I help out with Mass, because I'm Catholic and that's something I like to do. Also, I am a Spanish tutor and I work for Admissions.
This semester's been crazy so far, and it's still only September!!! All of the clubs I am in have already been booted up, and they certainly have kept me busy!! For instance, last weekend was amazingly busy! In addition to the workload that my professors gave me for the weekend (which could have been worse), I helped out at one of the women's soccer games and I helped at the huge carnival/picnic where the families of the students came and we just had everyone on back campus for a great time. My family came and we had a good time together, for I've been at Immaculata for a lot of weekends so it was good to see them again. We went, with my girlfriend, to Coldstone Creamery in Paoli where they have AMAZING ice cream!! It was a great break. Then, the next day, I worked an Open House and gave prospective students like you tours around the campus and (i think) helped them make a small decision about whether they wanted to come to Immaculata. After that, another busy week has started with finally an end in sight and more sleep!!! I hope you enjoyed and im signing off till next week!!
