Le Prèmier
Ugh-I felt so sick and congested this morning, definitely a direct result of staying up way later than I'm used to and forgetting to take my vitamins. I had to get up because I had class and then work. It was terribly tempting, though, to just stay in bed-but I know that would be just the first time, and then the next time I'd think, I didn't do my homework, I'm not going, and then I would end up just not going to class, and that would be stupid, since I'm here to learn, right?
The cast list went up today-I got in-hooray!!! The play's "The Mouse that Roared," and it's really hilarious. It's about this tiny little country in Europe that is struggling economically and so decides to wage war on America and lose, because they know that America will then pour all kinds of money into the country (rather a social commentary, no?). At any rate, they somehow actually WIN. It's craziness, and hilarity results. I'm a tourist named Mary, so this will be fun!
