I checked my mailbox on my way over to work today. Empty, again. I wish someone would just send me a letter. Or even a piece of paper asking me to try their new BBQ smoked chicken-I'm to the point where I almost wish for junk mail! Emails are nice, and so is a little instant message-don't get me wrong, I like them too. But the physicality of having a letter is just so lovely and comforting. I reall shouldn't be complaining-my little two-year old brother painted me a picture and mailed it to me the other day-what skill that child has! ;)
Last night we watched a pool battle-stripes wiped the floor with solids. We were going to watch a movie down in the lounge when we suddenly realized that it was Sunday night and we had class tomorrow! You can have so much fun just hanging out that you forget what time it is, and that your 8:45 class comes terribly early the next morning.
Here's a quote from my World Lit teacher, who is one of my favorites this semester: "Follow the rules until breaking the rules is better." Sounds terribly insubordinate, but he meant just to save your rule-breaking for really important things that mean a lot to you.
Well, I probably can find some homework or something to do instead of writing in here, so I"ll be off-Cheerio!
