I stepped out of my room for a minute yesterday morning around 11:00 without my books, pocketbook, or anything. I didn't say anything to my roommate, but when I came back about 2 minutes later, I was locked out and she was at lunch. I had, quite naturally, to be in high heels and stockings for a run across back campus to get her key so that I could get my books for class at 11:35, run back to the caf, inhale some food item, and run to class. And she had been upset because she thought I left without telling her. Jeez louise!
Mary and I have started going to morning Mass-it's great! The campus is so quiet, there's that cold morning feel to the air, and I'm awake and ready for my day. It's also encouraging me to get to bed sooner, which is very good, because I am intrinsically an early to bed, early to rise type person, and all these late nights were making me sick.
Well, I'm spending literally all day tomorrow in the language lab-I need to record and practice some things for my French Conversation and Phonetics class, and I need to work on the new Irish phrases we were given last night. Then, at some point, I need to think of a topic for that Psychology paper. And do all that History. I should be working on it now, but the construction going on in the building across the courtyard from me is sensationally loud-that's my alarm clock every morning-grrrr..... But it's good in the long run, the new rooms will be really nice and have air conditioning.
I think I'll run over to the library-I have no idea how my roommate is sleeping through all of this!! Oh, probably because she's silly and stayed up till 2 in the morning studying for a Bio test when she had an 8:45 this morning. Never sacrifice your sleep-start studying earlier, if you must, but get to bed at a decent time. Ha. This is me who's been staying up till all hours of the morning most nights-oh well!
