Hey guys, so this past Friday was incredible--I went home on Thursday cause it's the University Feast Day and the feast of the Immaculate Conception. I went to the orthodontist and then Kasey and Mary went on an expedition to New
Jersey to come see NARNIA with me at 6:45 at a private screening for my diocese. It was uber cool and I liked it a lot, and then we had to drive all the way back to school, even though I'm going to fall over I'm so exhausted. We got back to school and I was going to have to stay up for at least three hours more to finish my history paper. I called Becca to have her help me with the Chicago format of citation that you use in history, and she said the paper now WASN'T DUE TILL THE FINAL!!!!!!! So I hung up on her and ran upstairs and tackled her with my hug-I believe that was like the best surprise ever. And then we all went to bed. I woke up at 7 the next morning and looked on MYIU, our website and email for school, and guess what? The University was CLOSED for Friday-so yeee-haaaaawww!!!!! Snow and no school!
So I went back to sleep till like 12:30. I woke up, went over to Brunch, and then Rebecca, Mary, Kasey, Debby, and I had Christmas in M&B's room. I got them all really good presents, tailored to each of them, because that's what I do-that's what I love to do-and got really lovely cards and presents and CANDY in return. I love giving people presents and making them happy!!!!
Then we had CAROL NIGHT in the rotunda-it's so beautiful and I love it and I love Christmas!!!!!
Then everybody else went sledding, but Rebecca hadn't been with me to see Narnia, and she's the one who I talk about that kind of stuff with, so I told her I'd take her to see it. We went down to the lot where we had had to park on Thursday night so they could plow DC lot on Friday after the storm, and then suddenly realized that we had no gloves, no hats, and were going to have to remove four inches of snow, ice, and sleet from my car before we culd even try to move it. That was freezing freezing cold and took forever and we both ended up with no feeling in our fingers. It took the whole way to the movie theater before we realized we had fingers again.
It wasn't too bad, driving in all that snow and stuff. I just went really slow and took my time on all the massive hills around here, and said prayers under my breath when I knew we were just cruising on ice.
Today I'm going to have to do my history paper and get ready for my history exam-and then, at some point, I'm going to have to get all packed up for the move from DeChantal to Marian when we come back next semester.
Next week is finals-won't that be fun? :P
