It was a busy weekend, what with the play and all, but now it's over--bittersweet! But I won't be bored: two research papers I have to cobble together this week. Then there's the black and white gala on Saturday, Mr. IU competition Friday, and Sara Hanna benefit with Billy Joel's daughter on Sunday. All in all, fun craziness. But so much preparation!! And I really don't want to do these papers. Like not times a million. Well, actually, I want to do them, I just don't want to do them right now. I'm interested and everything, I just hate due dates. And then there's a little bit of a soap opera going on with my friends, so that's always interesting :-P But yeah. So I'm going to go eat some of the pretzels we got at the mall tonight because we walked past Auntie Anne's at closing and they sold us a million pretzels they were going to throw out for $10. That made our little impoverished college lives!!! :D

Well, the play is going fabulously. It's so cool to do children's theater--especially when we go out at the end into the audience. We stay in character and talk to the kids. It's so funny-I feel like a Disney princess or soemthing; they all want to hug me and tell me stuff. Maybe that's more like Santa Claus, I don't know :D Haha. Me as Santa Claus. Anyway, so that's really fun and cool. But then I still have homework. Which is neither fun nor cool. Because it comes with due dates. Bleh on them. You can't put a time limit on my learning!!! I'll learn this as slow as I want... :-p So, yeah, I have two research papers due next week. Insanity.
This weekend is Parent's Weekend, so I'm going to the Father-Daughter dance on Saturday, which should be fun. There's a Mother-Student brunch on Sunday, but I think there's a million things going on at home that day, so my mom and I went out to lunch this week when she came up for our opening show instead. Her and my dad, along with little bro John, are coming back to see it again tomorrow. John loved it so much!! He told me I was his favorite "kadader"in "alees een wunderland" :D
Buhbye!

Yeah, so I went home today to get more impressions for braces for the appliance they have to put in for my TMJ. Appliance makes me think of blenders and/ or microwaves, so it was a bit daunting, but it's just this little thing to snap in, it's all good. And then I went to the doctor's AGAIN cause the guy I saw over break is stupid and not my regular doctor, and it turns out I have bronchitis. DUH. Jeez. So I'm on some crazy butt-whupping drugs to knock that out of my right lung, hopefully in time for the play so I don't hock up a lung in the middle of pretending to be Alice in Wonderland. That would be good. Anyway, the play and two research papers due directly after it, so bye.

Well, it's spring break. Finally. Everyone needs this little bit of relaxation after two months of insanity. I don't even believe how fast college is going, though. It really boggles the mind.
You know what's delicious? Food you just watched your mom cook while you cathartically chopped vegetables for a salad. And sleeping in your own delicious bed surrounded by your own walls. Who says you can't go home? It's the only place that calls me one of their own.... :D
Anyway, I'm planning on getting a lot done this week. And by a lot I mean playing dinosaurs and trains with my little brother, watching chick flicks and baking with my mom, playing board games, singing at the top of my lungs everywhere, and laying around in slippers and pjs until one in the afternoon.
This is living.
