The cast list went up yesterday for Stuart Little--- my friend Kasey is Stuart!! I'm Stuart's mom, and I am so excited!! I really do like children's theater--- something about having all those little kids watching your every move--- and thinking you're actually funny, haha! The play is some time in March--- aren't I awful, I don't remember the performance dates--- but we've got a long road before then.
Had my Resident Assistant staff meeting last night--- we're thinking about doing something with both Marian and DeChantal halls, like a multicultural food night. I called France, because I love eclairs and cream puffs and they are as DELICIOUS! as eating a cloud made out of sugar. Although I suppose that would actually taste like cotton candy. Whatever, I don't even care--- food is good.

I bought Valentines for all the girls on my hall the other day--- Strawberry Shortcake and Disney/ Pixar ones! lol-- If you can't enjoy the kid inside of you, then I don't think you're really grown up.

Well, I have to go to my Forensic Chemistry lab and then to Theology of the Body class, so buhbye!

Back for More

This new semester is going to be fairly intense, but I always get so excited at the beginning of things! I love all of my classes, mostly because I'm a nerd sometimes, but also because they're just coool classes! Theology of the Body: Love it! English Literature to 1500--- we study Old English and did you know that the words "and" and "the" come all the way from Old English? And if you're thinking Old English equals Shakespeare, WRONG! Shakespeare is modern English, not even Middle English--- which is like what Canterbury Tales is written in. The words are sort of recognizable in Middle English, but not quite. But in Old English, it's awesome--- it's like Welsh. And did you know that Essex, Wessex, and Sussex were thus named because they were where the East, West, and South Saxons settled, respectively? Coolness, coolness, COOLNESS!! It's so awesome to be able to get excited about learning!
Stuart Little auditions for Children's Theater were this week, hopefully the cast list will be up the beginning of next week.
Priscilla's birthday is Superbowl weekend, and we might go and stay over at her house for a party, up in York, PA-- exciting!
Overall, a very promising start to the new year!!
