Heyy!
I am happy to say finals are over and I am in Tennessee right now with my family for a nice week long vacation! NOTHING is better then some time away to relax :) We are visiting good ol Gatlinburg and thankfully.. there is.. NO SNOW! Don't take this the wrong way.. I do like snow.. For the first day it snows. Its nice and pretty. However after that first day it just gets annoying and I tend to not like the cold weather that comes along with it. It will be nice to have no snow all week long and then maybe when I get back home I will be okay with snow once again!
Christmas is only 6 days away! Do you have all of your Christmas shopping done?? I am happy to say.. I do not! This year I am trying something new, and I hope its as fun as I am expecting. My family and I will be back home on Christmas day. So my plan is to take a nice nap after we get back and then go Christmas shopping.. The day after Christmas! Yes, thats right. I'm going to do that crazy thing people do every year. I will be up bright and early to fight the crowd of crazy people at Wal-mart and a select few other stores in order to buy presents for my close friends and loved ones. I am looking at it like its an adventure. My best friend is going to go with me and we are going to make the most of it! Maybe a 5 hour energy to start the morning off will be a good idea.
My goal is to get everything I need that morning and then spend a couple hours wrapping presents and making cookies! Christmas is definitely my favorite time of year. This Christmas is different than most others. My family usually stays home and goes to Christmas Eve service together on Christmas Eve, the wake up Christmas morning to open presents and have a huge breakfast! We decided to come down to Tennessee this year and have Christmas the Day after Christmas! I miss our traditional way we do things, but I'm definitely not complaining about being down here on vacation. :D
While we are here I am planning on getting some rest while relaxing and catching up on my movie watching. Hopefully we go to Ripley's aquarium because I have always wanted to go! Also we are going to be going shopping at the outlet malls here and doing some sight seeing (which is my favorite thing to do because that means I get to take a lot of pictures!) We won't be doing any hiking this trip, but I think I'll be doing enough walking to make up for that. Should be a great time!
Well I will post again while I'm here to let you know about the awesome stuff we do. And if I figure out how to post pictures, I will be sure to do that as well. :) Hope you all have a fantastic week!
