I can't believe its already November! The warm weather has left and the cold weather has set in. I am not looking forward to winter. I get really cold really fast and like it when the weather stays warm! Looks like it's time to get the heated blanket out and crank up the heat in the house.

Even though I do not enjoy winter weather I do enjoy many other things that comes along with it. Christmas is by far my favorite thing about winter and I CAN NOT WAIT for it to get here! This will be my first Christmas not living in my parents house. It's going to be weird. The usual routine was for everyone to go to bed so that "Santa" could bring the presents. Then we all wake up early to a fantastic Christmas breakfast and open presents while still in pj's. When I was little I would go to bed early, then wake up around 5am with my older brother Morgan and we would sort the presents out into piles. Once the sorting was finished we would fall asleep on the floor beside our pile until everyone else woke up.

There will be another first this Christmas, one that I am not looking forward to. Grandma would always give me an ordainment, she did so every year.. I know I told you all she was not doing well.. She passed away last Thursday and this has been the hardest thing I have ever had to go through. I miss her so much already and the thought of her not being here this Christmas brings tears to my eyes. I try to remember she will still be with us in spirit and will watch over me as Christmas comes and goes. My favorite part about Christmas is the time I get to spend with all of my family. Even though you are no longer here with us Grandma, I'll still be writing you a Christmas card and will think of you Christmas Eve while singing silent night at church.. I love you and miss you <3
