School's...Out For Summer!
Sorry I've been gone for so long! Life was a tad hectic for me, but now I'm back home in Marion!(Just for the week!)
My finals went pretty well, and I got the A I worked SO hard for! That was my main focus for the semester because it's one of my classes I have to have to get into the nursing program! If you haven't heard, the nursing program is REALLY competitive, so I have to have a high GPA to get in. My plan was to apply May 1st and start in the fall, but I've decided to hold off until next year and get my other classes required to get a bachelor degree out of the way. It will take me an extra year to graduate, but I'd rather take my time and do it right the first time through!
I'm glad to be done with my first year of college, but I miss my friends so much! (I'm one of the few staying in Fort Wayne through the summer.) All except for one of my close friends in Fort Wayne stayed in student housing, so we have tons of memories! So to the best: Cherrelle, Jayla, Arielle, Cory, Barshea', Anthony, Sierra, Mary, Jamila, "Lucy & Ricky", Beverly-- Thanks for being part of my first year of the college life! It was crazy at times, but fun! As for my favorite girls, we will all reunite again in August to resume our lives as "The Crew"! (Minus Arielle :(....We will miss you Elbow!)
My summer vacation will end early, as I have decided to take a summer course, Biology 204! Summer classes give you a semester's worth of work in 6 weeks! An upside of this is I only go three days a week. This is my first summer class, so I'm nervous, but I've taken Bio 203 already so I know what to expect for the most part!
Before the summer is over I have so many things to complete! A trip to Cedar Point with my sweetheart, partying with "The Crew", volunteer work at the hospital, summer tours, barbaques, RibFest, Road Knights, Three Rivers Festival, moving, and I'm sure much more! Let the fun continue! :)
