Happy Birthday Ashley!

This weekend was a lot of fun. It started friday night with my friend Ashley coming over. We watched movies and did some homework until we went to play broom ball in State College with the outing club. There were 13 of us that went and we ran around the ice rink with "brooms" hitting a ball trying to score on the other team. Of course my team rocked it. I even was blocking Tyler who is at least a foot taller than me... it was quite silly. I did fall a few times and I have the bruses to prove it. I really would love to do that again sometime.
Saturday was Ashley's surprise party for her 21st birthday. It was hard spending so much time with her and not letting it slip but I was good. She was so surprised.
This is now the third week of classes so things are starting to settle in. I have my homework times set and my fun times set, too. I find that if I schedule my homework time in I am more likely to finish it in a timely mannor and I won't be staying up all night trying to finish it.
Well I will leave you with a couple of pictures from broom ball taken by Danielle.

Oh this week...

We have a short school week this week, only 4 days. We had Monday off for Martin Luther King day. I do like having a break right when school starts so that we get a chance to slowly get back into the swing of things.
This weekend was good. It started with dinner and hanging out with some friends on Friday night. We played pictionary drawing on the whiteboard. It was a lot of fun, but some of those clues are hard! How do you draw side stitch?
Saturday I went Ice-skating with another group of friends. It only took us over an hour to get to State College... if you see signs for Snow Shoe you have gone too far!! I wasn't driving or navigating. Haha (sorry Kristy and Megan). We went Ice-skating which was a blast. I didn’t fall once.
Sunday was a nice quite day. I did homework and some cleaning and organizing, even though you can't tell anymore. Monday was great too cause it was one more day off.
Of course this weekend wasn't all good... my laptop up and died on Friday night. It was weird being without it for the weekend. I am lucky though to have a great friend that lent me hers so I could do my work. Well, the good part... today my new pink Acer showed up. Its a mini-laptop so it is super small and super cute. I absolutely love it. The fact that it is pink just brings a smile to my face. Being that it is small also makes it perfect for my classes!

Well I will leave you with a photo from ice-skating on Saturday. I need to get some homework done.

First week of classes

Classes have offically started again. I am glad to have them start though bcause I was getting a little stir crazy being out here with out too many people around. Don't get me wrong... I like the quiet here in my apartment complex, but I miss some people.
So this semester I have a full course load of 18 credits. I am taking Assessment, Classroom Management, Intermediate Reading, Arts and Crafts, Linear Programming, and Learning Support. This was a busy week with the start of these classes. And the best part is the run we have to make from east campus to main campus in the afternoon on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Well, for now I am off to do some homework... till next week.

Still on break

So I am still on break, but I am already back at Lock Haven. I came back early to work and just chill out here. I did hope to get out and do some outdoorsy stuff, but the snow has kept me from playing outside too much. But that is ok because I have done a lot of sewing :).
Break was great though. I spent time up in New Hampshire with my sister. Of course I had to go up when a crazy storm was coming through. 2 feet of snow fell while was up there. After I spent time in NH my sister and I went to NJ to see the rest of our family. It was great being able to spend time with my family because I do not see them very often.
Christmas was amazing. Having my 3 year old nephew around always keeps things interesting. He actually said when he was almost done opening his presents that he was done and that he would finish later. He is a silly little boy.
Now that I am back out here I am really looking foward to classes starting next week.
