Finals week!

Hi!
Yikes! It's my last week up here AND it's finals week! I am not going to be that stressed out though because I only have 2 in-classroom finals. For my criminal law final, I had to write an 8-10 page research paper on how the prisons are becoming the new mental hospitals. For my corrections final, I have to write a one page essay which shouldn't be too bad because my corrections class is my favorite class. For my criminal investigations final I have to take my final online which also shouldn't be too bad. My Spanish final is at 8 o'clock at night tomorrow night! Jeez, but at least that gives me a lot of time to study between now and then. And then finally my last exam, which is statistics, is on Thursday at 8am. Enough about all of my finals though- I am so excited for Christmas break. I haven't even started my Christmas shopping yet though. I have a pretty good idea what I am going to get everyone though so I should be good. In the forecast up here we have it predicted that we are going to get a lot of snow, which I totally hope happens :) I don't really like the cold, but I feel like if it is cold out it should be snowing! I really want to go skiing over Christmas break, and wish I could get back to Vermont to ski since I haven't been there since my senior year of high school. Well, I hope everyone has a wonderful week and I hope you are all in the Christmas spirit :)

Another weekend in Lock Haven

Hi!
I had another great weekend! I got to go out to lunch at Olive Garden with my parents yesterday. I LOVE Olive Garden, but now it's back to reality. I have so much to do within this next week that I am starting to stress really bad. I have a poster project for my corrections class that my group is doing on direct supervision vs. linear intermittent jails, which should be really interesting because I am really interested in corrections. I also have a portfolio due for my criminal investigations class, which is also going to be fun because we just put all the pictures, sketches, drawings and things into a portfolio that we have from all of our crime scenes we investigated. So, even though everything is going to be stressful it's going to be fun getting it all done. I only have two scheduled finals the week of finals week, so that week shouldn't be too bad especially since I have both of them on Thursday so I have plenty of time to study for them :) Tomorrow there is a 3-5 inch forecast of snow in Lock Haven, so I am hoping for no school!! A snow day would be so much fun to just go out and play in the snow all day and have extra time to get some work done! I hope everyone had a great weekend and I hope everyone has a great start to the week!
