I plan on teaching high school art in order to fund my extracurricular art hobbies so as not to live my life as a starving artist. I chose the College for several reasons. First, its proximity to my home is miniscule. Second, the most important factor it is affordable. Why in the world would I take general education classes at a four year school when I can take them for a quarter, divided by two, of the price here?????? Lastly, the technology that the school is practically founded on, drew me hand over fist, whatever that means?

Intercollegiate Sport Program

This past fall we had a Faculty/Student Basketball and Volleyball competition at the YMCA in Pottstown. It was so successful and there was so much had that we hope that it is repeated this next Fall. With the start of the Intercollegiate Sports Program, there will be more fun than ever. We've just adopted our mascot, the Mustang. I look forward to the camaraderie that it will spur between our campuses and other colleges. When you are signing up for classes, ask your Advisor for more information.

Are you guilty?

Recently I visited with a student who was continuing on to a 4 year university. At their orientation they were informed that 32 students were currently under prosecution for copy write infringement for downloading music and movies. The violation is a 3rd class felony. The increase in the past semester was over 30% of students involved. The students lost their computer use and were sanctioned by the university. In this day of wi-fi, it is easy to fall into habits that could easily get you in trouble. What do you think about that?

Life And School

Sooo... school is coming to a close and I can barely believe it. With the end of this semester, the end of my illustrious career at Montgomery County Community College comes to a close. I feel that MCCC really prepared me for my future schooling. I can't wait to see how different a four year college is than MCC.
I really only have 6 more projects to do before school is over and I cant wait to complete them. This week I gave a tour to some newbies and basically got a standing ovation ( well they were standing and clapping at the same time at least).

One of My Favorite Professors

For true, all of the professors are great at MCCC's West Campus. If you are planning on taking a science this year one of my favorite professors, Rob Kuhlman, is the man for the job. Seriously, if you are not good at science, this man will “rock” (its funny because he teaches a geology course) your world. He is incredibly knowledgeable about his field of expertise and utilizes our electronic capabilities to the fullest extent. Not only is he very knowledgeable, he is also incredibly affable. Well thats all for me.
