Hi everyone:

I hope you all enjoyed another week. The weather has been very nice the past couple of days up here on Cresson Mountain. Yesterday, it was in the high 60s! I hope the temperatures just continue to rise each day and that we do not see any more snow.

This past week was a week of good news for me. First, I was informed that I will be speaking at graduation in May. Speaking at Commencement was something that I have wanted to do for some time now. There were a number of exceptional students who could have spoke in May, so I feel both lucky and honored to have the opportunity. I began my speech right away and look forward to finishing it this weekend. Second, I found out that I am eligible for Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society; it is a national honor society for college athletes. I was very excited at the news, as well as, proud of my academic accomplishments. It has been a great week for me in terms of a boost to finish strong in my last couple of weeks. Now, I just have to wait to hopefully hear some good news from some graduate schools on acceptance to their institution.
