I Smell Graduation

Hi everyone,

I hope you enjoyed yet another week of March. Man has it been full of crazy weather or what? Walking outside some mornings, I’d swear it was January or February....lets just hope for better days in April!

This week was yet another busy one for me. I have been taking a class up in Dubois for the past five weeks and this past Tuesday it ended. The class was a psychology class: Drugs and Human Behavior. I found the class very interesting and well taught. I took the class with a girl from Mount Aloysius as well and we drove up there every Tuesday for class. Everyone was extremely nice and it was a fun class to be a part of. The five weeks just flew by.

This week, though, was busy with graduation duties as well. I helped set up for the annual "Graduate Salute" on Monday. Graduate Salute is an event that has everything seniors need to take care of in one place. They have Financial Aid, Career Services, Alumni Relations and Health Services there just to name a few of the services available. The actual event was on Tuesday from 12-6. I helped with it on Tuesday as well. I also took care of a bunch of things that needed to be taken care of for graduation. The exciting part was picking up my cap and gown. It really hit me there that my time was running short here at Mount Aloysius. It’s both exciting and sad at the same time. I just would like to know where my past three years went. On Wednesday, I also participated in the first senior social. This consisted of some light refreshments and a movie to get seniors together to just sit back and have a good time.

Another week has come and gone. I don't know what I am going to do when I leave here and I don't write blogs anymore. It feels like I just started doing this and now it is almost over. Well enough complaining. Have an awesome week and until next time...cya later.
