Summer adventures at MAC and beyond...
This is my first blog entry and my senior year is less than two weeks away. My summer was very overwhelming, but fun. I was occupied by umpiring Little League games, working in the admissions office here at Mount Aloysius College, and playing summer baseball for Creekside in the Indiana County league. Umpiring Little League games was an incredible experience. I like to work with kids and teach them what I know about baseball. Working in the admissions office is a great learning experience and I'm learning how to adapt to the business world. Playing baseball for Creekside is a one in a lifetime adventure. My team-mates are a bunch of clowns as well as being really great friends. We have won the championship three years straight and are patiently waiting to make it number four next year. I have already played four years of baseball here at MAC in which I have the school records for the most wins and strikeouts as a pitcher. This past season has paved the way for me to have the opportunity to play professional baseball. Even though I'm out of college eligibility, I still plan on working out with the team as a mentor. I'm looking forward to completing my senior year in Business Administration and I will be graduating with a Bachelors degree. I hope everyone has a great year and I'm going to leave you with one of my favorite quotes "Go hard or go home."
