Summer Microbiology

This summer I've been teaching a six-week Microbiology course where students are learning about bacteria, viruses, fungi, and algae. I've really enjoyed getting to know students, since I see them on a daily basis for several hours a day, we have gotten to know each other. I'm excited to report that we are purchasing a new teaching microscope, which has a digital camera capture system and will create another opportunity for undergraduate research. If there's something you'd like to look at more closely (LITERALLY!), get in touch with me!
