Being appreciated

Monday night was a big deal on campus. The school was hosting its annual Presidential Appreciation Banquet and Ashley and I were invited. We go to rub elbows with some of the big cheeses from around the area. It was nice. I ran into some old friends like Colby, Sharp Cheddar, and my personal favorite Yellow American. No, in all seriousness, I got to say "Hi!" to Mr. Valenty from Valenty Bottled Water. To me, he is a very important figure. The dinner was for benefactors and students who recieved scholarships. Ashley and I recieved the same UPS Scholarship. We got to eat a nice meal provided by the friendly Metz Staff. At my table were Bill Harris, the County Commissoner, and Bill Wilkinson. The Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Joe Sheetz, knew the importance of time and completed the evening with his final speech and the dinner ended by 8:05 p.m.

Thanks Joe!
