Madrigal

A few weeks ago we had our annual Madrigal feast on campus. It is like an English medieval feast/dinner theatre. As a member of Vox Nova, I got to sing along with some extra people that wished to spread some Christmas cheer.

I had a larger role than usual this year. I was asked to be a Lord Chamberland. This is a fancy title for "ye olde announcer." I listened to some coaching tapes and tried to adopt an Irish accent. I don't think that my accent was very good. But, it worked out and I think that everyone had a good time.

Thanks-gobble-giving break

Wow! Could that break have been any shorter? I had a nice Thanksgiving meal on Thursday and Saturday with my family and Ashley's family. I didn't get too much school work done because I had other family related chores and such to do. But wouldn't you know it, having a personal life doesn't prevent the school work from piling up!

As I currently lie under this mountain of paper and work to do, with one outstretched arm hacking this message bit by bit, I will attempt to dig myself out of this bleak situation while counting the days down to the end of the semester and the beginning of Christmas break.
