April 1st....Already!?!?
Now it's beginning to finally feel like Spring! The weather is getting warmer each week, the snow has melted, and the rainy April days have moved in, but most exciting is that BASEBALL season is starting! Go Red Sox!
Last week I found out that I have been selected to be a new student orientation leader this summer. I am thrilled to have this opportunity, and can not wait to mentor the new freshman class and transfer students. Maybe I'll even be your orientation leader! Orientation training starts at the end of May, and the orientations will start at the end of June.
This past weekend, RSA had their Spring Internal Conference in Wells, Maine at Village By The Sea conference center. This weekend was full of various programs about diversity, creativity, and of course, our organization. We also had a scavenger hunt, a polar bear swim in the Atlantic, a Top Chef competition and bowling! The trip's attendance included forty-eight members from RSA's General Council who have dedicated numerous hours of their time to the organization and University throughout this academic year!
As the semester winds down, I am finding my days to be filled with dinners, get togethers, and various recognition events. The first of which will be tomorrow night; I will be attending a reception hosted by the President of our University for Northeastern's finest student leaders and dedicated alumni volunteers.
On Friday I will be flying out to San Diego with Co-op Connections for the San Diego Crew Classic. This is an Annual Crew Race in San Diego that draws alumni from all over the West Coast. As the Homecoming King, I will be attending on behalf of the University as a proud husky and experienced co-op participant. I am thrilled to have this experience!
With a full schedule ahead, until the end of the semester, I am sure to be busy around campus and Boston! As always, please feel free to send me your questions or concerns. I will be gearing up for orientations soon, so feel free to ask me about the orientation experience!

Hi Jason -
It sounds like things are going great for you, and congrats on all you do. Max is starting the college search, and we're planning on visiting NU during April vacation. Maybe we'll see you there - or at least back in Westboro at some point.
Regards,
Mrs. Sharkey
