Jerome Brooks

My name is Jerome Brooks, and I am currently a sophomore with a dual major in Criminal Justice and Business Administration. I'm an international student from the Caribbean island of St.Maarten/St.Martin. Ethnically, I am of African and European decent. Coming to Boston for university has enabled me to continue living in an area where diversity and multiculturalism are both encouraged and honored.

At Northeastern, I'm an active member of the Honors Student Council (HSC), the Caribbean Student Organization (CSO), and a brother of Sigma Beta Rho Fraternity, Inc. In my spare time, I enjoy jet-skiing, exercising, and hanging out with family and friends.

Homecoming 2008

Homecoming officially kicked off on Monday, October 13 with PIKEtoberfest. Thousands gathered at the West Village Quad to witness live performances by the following bands: Boys Like Girls, Cute Is, and Lights. Undoubtedly, the main attraction was Boys Like Girls.

The audience responded to the hype by jumping up and down. There was also some crowd surfing. Free food, giveaways, and homecoming T-shirts were handed out by the masses.

Homecoming will continue with the introduction of Homecoming Court, the Mayor of Huntington Debate, Homecoming Pep Rally, an Evening with Jon Stewart, Homecoming Parade and Carnival, a football game vs. UNH, and a hockey game vs. BC.

Good Luck to our football and hockey teams…GO HUSKIES!!!
