Taste of M.G.C.
On Monday, December 8th, Northeastern University’s newly recognized Multicultural Greek Council hosted “Taste of M.G.C. – What better way to get to know people than through food?” Invited guests were encouraged to come out, meet the members of the organizations that make up M.G.C. (Kappa Phi Lambda Sorority Inc., Delta Phi Omega Sorority Inc., Pi Delta Psi Fraternity Inc., and Sigma Beta Rho Fraternity Inc.), and try some great food.
During the event, the four organizations introduced themselves, giving details on the pillars, values, and ideals on which they were founded. Other information, such as where they were initiated, their credentials, and what they do to reach out to the community was also elaborated upon.
Chinese, Vietnamese, Indian, Arabian, and Korean cuisine were among the many types available at the social gathering.
In attendance were members from all Greek Councils on campus as well as members from various student groups. Though it was their first major event, M.G.C. was successful in bringing the Northeastern student population together!
