Summer's Greatness
Hey Everyone! I am enjoying Boston's gorgeous Spring weather currently and couldn't ask for anything else. Congratulations to all students who are graduating college! My sister will be graduating this weekend from Quinnipiac University. I will be attending the ceremony.
Right now, I am actually doing research in the college with Professor Matthias Felleisen and his PhD student Carl Eastlund. I am working on improving the new curriculum for teaching logic in computer science. Basically, I am working on the work that students are currently doing in the class, and I am helping them find ways to present the material in an understandable manner. It's hard to describe, but hopefully you get the gist. It was really easy to get involved. In CCIS, I just spoke to a professor, stating that I was interested in doing research with them. And Bam!
Other than that, I am anxiously waiting for June 30th as I start my co-op. I got my papers to prepare, and I am so excited. Other than that, I am trying to enjoy summer.
The school does a lot to keep students involved over the summer. For example, we have Keepin' It Cool Mondays, where we have ice cream every Monday. Who could say no to Ice Cream? They also have a bunch of event as a part of their Summester Program such as Six Flags, Whale Watching, Duck Tours, Red Sox, NYC, and tons more. It's going to be a great summer!
Enjoy the good weather! As always, feel free to comment with any questions you have. I am really good at answering them.
