My day in a “nutshell

goosebumps rain rain rain major exploration fair sleep math SEL poli sci MLC RPAC run run run “Buckeye Blitz evening weather report more goosebumps and a song called Underwater by the impossibly unknown All-Time Quarterback.

The first goosebumps came from the chill walking to class at 8:20 this morning without a jacket. Dumb idea. The second goosebumps were a little more interesting, seeing as I was sweating/ running off a million pounds at the trusty RPAC. I was scanning the TV’s without any real interest until there was an intense commercial for OSU football. Not growing up around this stuff, the absolute passion and fervor for football here was a little intimidating at first. After going to the first couple games and getting over feeling like a moron for not knowing all the cheers, though, I find myself really getting into it. Honestly, all the tradition and spirit and glory fascinates me. So I was watching this commercial thinking, That’s my school; that’s where I am right now. I am a part of something so much bigger than I ever knew. Weird. Then they show a local weather report, real exciting I know, but for some reason when I saw the state of Ohio with Columbus right there in the middle, it hit me like a ton of bricks. It was almost as if there were a big arrow like on a map for people who get lost at theme parks. You are here. And this is the only place I am gonna be for the next couple of months/ years. Maybe it was just the peak of my jogging or the beats that I was jamming to at the time, but seeing those two things on the TV tonight and making that connection seriously gave me hardcore goosebumps. It was pretty freaking cool.

GO BUCKS!
