Happy Birthday! It was my friend's 19th birthday on Friday so we bought party hats and a balloon to celebrate. Then we went to a party. We all know that in college Halloween is celebrated at every possible opportunity/ night of the weekend. Thus, everyone was dressed up. However, my costume was being brought from home the following day, and I was therefore costume-less and completely alone in that state on Friday night. I continued to rock the party hat though, and by the end of the night, I had come to be known as "birthday girl". People even sang me "Happy Birthday!", including the person whose birthday it actually was.

"It's the type of cold where if it were this temperature in the spring, people would be talking about how warm it is." Probably true. The things I hear people talking about while I'm eating my free meal on break at work range from the weather the capital of South Carolina to relationship ideals to Chem 101. Very interesting, but sometimes I feel sort of creepy lending an ear.

Overwhelmed. School work is really starting to pile up. Yikes.
