More Adventurous?
11/05 - 11/11
This week’s OHIO:
OSU Recycles Day. November 9th was OSU Recycles day, inspired by America Recycles Day on the 15th. To raise awareness of recycling on campus, myself and other members of Students for Recycling pitched a tent on the oval and challenged Ohio State students, faculty, and visitors a like to be less “trashy than Michigan.
Happy Veteran’s Day! To honor those who have served our country, Ohio State was closed for classes today. Mirror Lake Café was also closed today and over the weekend as well. So even though I may have lost a few dollars by not working yesterday or this morning, I surely gained a few hours of sleep. Thank you veterans!
Ilijas. I went to a Nebojsa Zivkovic percussion performance at Weigel Hall on Tuesday. Ilijas is the name of both a Bosnian city, and a piece of music composed for the marimba. It was a jammin’ tune and an amazing concert. Seriously, this guy had unreal rhythm.
Oskee Wow OW. Oskee Wow Wow is the Illinois fight song. I have mixed emotions about this one. Both of my parents and my older brother attended U of Illinois. I was very excited to rub it in their faces after we creamed them on Saturday. One problem: We lost. And I have yet to hear the end of it from friends and fam back home. ☹.
GO BUCKS!
