According to Mr. Rogers...
It's a wonderful day in the neighborhood!
It really is. There hasn’t been a cloud in the sky for three days, which is probably more than I can say for Chicago. It’s been at least 70 degrees for the last couple days as well, which is definitely more than I can say about Chicago.
The oval basically has turned into a beach, minus of course sand and water. Walking through it on the way to class is like getting punched in the face. I see all the sunned boys and girls throwing a ball around, laying in the sun, catching a nap, and all I want to do is join them. I don’t want sit through 48 minutes of chemistry in a freezing cold lecture hall!
The good thing is, though, that the sun stays out for a long time these days. And basically anything that I would be doing inside in my dorm, I can do outside in the sun. So as soon as I got done with class, I grabbed some books, a towel, my sunglasses, and pretended to study/ took an outdoor nap/ enjoyed the general splendor with some buds. It felt very collegiate, and it felt very warm.
GO OUTSIDE!
