For Problems with Easy Solutions
Ok ok ok. I know skipping class is “bad. I make a very earnest effort every quarter to miss zero classes. So far, only Winter ’08 was a success. And go figure, that was also the only quarter I got all A’s…I know good grades are related to attendance, and I say it all the time that the only thing worse than going to class is not going to class. Buuuuuttttttttt I needed a break. I have a Math 152 midterm tomorrow (kill me) and generally, I’ve had a very stressful week. I just took an English midterm on Tuesday, which went fairly smoothly, and there was nothing very noteworthy on the syllabus for today. We get two unexcused absences, no questions asked, and I decided today was the perfect day to take advantage. And I’m not gonna lie, it felt pretty good to not go to class. I still went to math because I’d be an absolute moron to skip the day before an exam. But instead of falling asleep in English thereafter, I unwound, cleaned my room, watched some House, M.D., got ready to study, and then wrote this instead of studying. Oops. Point is, my perfect attendance will have to wait until next quarter, and I’m quite alright with that. Now, more importantly, wish me luck on my math test! Ahh!!!!
