It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

That’s right. Time to schedule my classes for next quarter! Naturally, I’ve been planning it out for a while, and thanks to Schedulizer.com, I’ve been able to see all my possible schedules based on the classes I plan on taking, making it possible to weigh the pros and cons of each sched. Because of the torture of my math classes this quarter and last, I decided to take it “easy this upcoming quarter and only take 13 credit hours, three of which consist of Dance 201.02 (intro to ballet) and Music 215.02 (orchestra for non-music majors). My two “academic classes will be Psych 100, which shouldn’t be too bad, and then the class I’m most excited about, Anthro 620.01: Hunters and Gatherers. Now that I’m going to be done with the intro-level anthro classes, I can start taking “exciting classes in my major, such as the above. I am aware that a 600-level class might be a shock at first, especially since I’m going to be a timid 2nd-year surrounded by graduating seniors. However, hunters and gatherers just happen to be one of my main interests as an anthro major, and I’m definitely looking forward to the class. The other good news is that I won’t have class at all on Fridays, making going home for events such at the Death Cab/ Cold War Kids/ Ra Ra Riot concert in April and my brother’s college graduation in May a lot easier.

It’s all too easy to feel that this current quarter is over though, now that I’ve scheduled. I need to stay on track these last three weeks. Spring break/ spring quarter ’09 is my light at the end of a long, dark tunnel. I mean, it’s not so bad right now. But I’m definitely ready for the future. It will be good for my soul to get back to the part of me that plays viola, takes ballet, and ISN’T STRESSED ABOUT MATH ALL THE TIME! I’m going to work less and do more fun things in the sun and generally be 40 times more energetic/ enthusiastic than I am in these dregs of winter quarter. And not to mention, baseball starts in 43 days!

Yay!

But now, coming back to the present, it’s time to do math homework.
