Only 4 days until 2008! And only 3 days until I’m back at OSU…very exciting! I’m a big fan of New Year’s resolutions, but I haven’t thought of any specifically…I feel like I’ve been resolving myself all year! New Year’s will just be a nice time for me to spend with friends and get ready for a new quarter of classes and work.
The new quarter gives me a fresh start with promises to study more and do my job better. The “study more� has come up every quarter, where when it begins I vow to not only take an interest in getting a high grade, but also the learning and taking something away from my classes. It’s a hard vow to keep, believe me. I haven’t fully kept that frame of mind, the “academic interest�, for an entire quarter yet. But we’ll see, it’s my 5th quarter here, 5th times a charm.
For now, I’m just looking to my first New Year’s Eve in Columbus!
