Ok, so it’s been awhile, but first there was Finals weekend, then Finals recovery weekend, then moving back to OSU weekend…and now here I am, a week into Spring Quarter. I started my internship on Monday. I woke up at the crack of dawn and got all dressed up and caught my bus and got there…an hour early. Well, better early than late. It’s basically been an adjustment period. It’s very laid-back there, and I’m usually the first one there (I tend to be a very early morning person). The time commitment kills me, but I think I am really enjoying it. This week, they would just give me information and I type up blurbs or articles or promotional copy. It’s been a great experience just to sit down and write for a few hours. It’s something I love to do, but it’s taking some getting used to. It’s not like sitting around in my pajamas in my room with the TV on and writing. It’s office work, and people can watch my every move. Kind of intimidating, but I’m getting used to it. It should prove to be a challenge and a learning experience.
