The RPAC is fantanstic—it really is. Monday and Wednesday evenings they have the badminton nets set up. And I don't know about you guys, but badminton is totally my thing. Best sport ever.

I just got back from a pretty intense game with a high school friend. Playing right-handed got boring, so we played left-handed for a while—highly recommended. And then when that got boring, we alternated hands after each hit—even more highly recommended.

And if you're really hardcore—sadly, I am not—you can crash the Badminton Club's meetings and play with the real players. You know, the ones with the nice racquets and nice cases for their nice racquets. The ones who can hit that birdie so fast you instinctively duck for cover not even realizing how ridiculous you look. I played a game of doubles with them once.

My suitemate and I got into a game with this aisan pair one night. It was the best game of doubles I've ever played. Seriously, usually doubles sucks and everyone knows that: Both you and your partner go for the same shots down the middle line, or neither of you goes for it. That's doubles. But not during that game. It was incredible. Everyone needs to play badminton at the RPAC. Everyone.
