Appealing only because they're just that unappealing.
Apparently, I have a calculus test Wednesday. It came as a surprise to me, but only because I hadn't checked the syllabus since I got it. But it's true—I have a calculus test on Wednesday. And then I'm going home for Thanksgiving.
I don't know why I'm a business major. Most of my other suitemates are engineering majors, and I often find myself doing their physics homework for fun—when I'm not doing my own math homework (for fun, since it's optional). But what can I say? I like math, even if I am having more difficulty than I expected with some of these integrals.
The end of the quarter is fast approaching, and I have to say, my classes are a lot easier than I expected. I've only missed two points in math 161, have over 100% in political science 210, and a very high A in my survey class. English H110.02 is the only class I'm not too sure about. The grades aren't posted, and my professor said he adjusts the grades at the end of the quarter anyway, so there's no way of knowing how I'll do. I'm expecting college to get harder (especially when I take 25 credit hours next quarter), but at the end of quarter one, I'm proud to say that I'm taking it all in stride.
Oh—I also joined Fisher, Ink., the monthly publication of the Fisher College of Business. I got my first writing assignment today: I'll be spotlighting a Photoshop class (Art Edu 252). I've got to arrange interviews sometime tomorrow for the next week; it's probably best to get it done before winter break. It's going to be such a relaxing break, having nothing to do, nothing to worry about—except the impending doom of winter quarter.
