Your number has been called.
It’s 5:21 a.m. and I’m doing homework. Not because I want to, but because I can’t sleep and there’s nothing else to do. Besides, I’m not even sure if I consider this to be homework.
I’m taking Econ H271, “Economics and the Law, and it’s a ridiculously interesting class. Our first paper is due Wednesday and I have to analyze a Supreme Court decision on a property case with economic reasoning. It’s challenging—that’s for sure. I’m trying not to look so much to the Fifth Amendment as I am to marginal analysis, but the line’s a devious one.
I have plans today to study with a friend for my other econ class, Intermediate Microeconomics. I’m not going to lie—I haven’t been paying attention in class. Actually, I’ve been leaving 30 minutes into them. All the professor does is read off the PowerPoint slides that he puts online anyway, so I figure I can just look over them on my own when the time comes. The time hasn’t been coming for five chapters and now I’m unbelievably behind. To make things worse, midterms are the week after this coming one, and did I mention how behind I am? Tomorrow is the day.
