I’m sorry, but I just don’t find Will Ferrell funny. If anything, I find him so irritating that he aggravates my initial feelings of irritation. And just knowing that he’s on campus right now, and knowing that my roommate and some of my good friends are watching him right now, I can’t help but wonder why people find him funny.

I had my meeting with my adviser today. And even though my primary major is accounting, I declared finance as my specialization. Because if/when I get into the honors accounting program, those courses will already be taken care of; I need the finance specialization in the system so I’ll be able to register for the major sections of those courses. After my meeting and after I did almost maybe not so horribly terrible on yet another midterm (CS&E 200) today, I went back to my dorm and mapped out my complete college schedule (in Excel, because CS&E 200 actually taught me how to use it effectively).

At first I thought I might be too ambitious—three majors and the Master of Accounting program in four years? I thought, no way, but it turns out that I can make this work! I don’t even have to take 25+ credit hours per quarter—like I’m doing now—and all my required courses for my accounting, finance, and economics majors and all my GECs fit comfortably within my first three years. I’m reserving my fourth year for the Master of Accounting program, so I can graduate in four years (spring of 2011) with three majors and a Master of Accounting degree. The only downside to this whole ambition-overdrive thing is that I won’t really get to take any “fun� classes—you know, the classes you take because you have free space and want to learn something new. I really do want to learn something new, something random, something fun. Maybe I can find places to squeeze a few in; I still want college to be fun.
