Away from the sun again.
Another all-nighter. This one could have been avoided, but I insisted on putting off studying and then pretended to be shanghaied into seeing Smart People at the Drexel when I could have easily declined. Anyway, I have my econ 502 midterm in five hours and I’m terrifying unprepared, especially after looking through my professor’s reviews on RateMyProfessors.com.
This week is not going to be a fun one. Usually I do very little work each week—I’d spend maybe an hour or two collectively on homework. But this week is midterm week for me, and I’m going to be spending all of it either studying or worrying about how little I’m actually studying. Either way, it’s a lot of work; and either way, it means little sleep will come my way.
The temperatures are supposed to get back up to the 70s by midweek, and I’m full-heartedly grateful for that. It means I’ll get to run outside comfortably, or play Frisbee in the Oval, or just mess around in the dark at obscene hours of the night with friends. I’m regretting taking 20 credit hours this quarter, and it’s too late to drop a course without taking a “W.” I already have a “W,” so the last thing I want is to give it a friend to conspire with; only bad things can happen when two “Ws” get together.
I schedule for autumn quarter on April 22nd at 11:15 a.m. That’s right—autumn quarter. I applied for the Accounting Honors program and expect to get a slot in it. I’m still waiting on word, but if that works out then my scheduling for autumn quarter should be a smooth and flawless operation. I’m thinking I’ll stick with 15 credit hours—my lowest ever—but I just want to play it safe. You never know what to expect when dealing with honors accounting.
